Welcome to Cynase's Mushroom Site. This is a site which is dedicated to hallucinogenic mushrooms. However, like all web sites, this site is everchanging and is always improving. To take good photographs of mushrooms, one needs a good camera with a very go od macro lens. I was able to borrow a camera for most of these photographs. Since my bank accounts are still frozen, I can't buy one at the moment. It may take a little time loading of all the jpeg (photo) files but the wait should be worth it.
Finding good and realible information about hallucinogenic mushrooms is quite difficult. That is the point of this site. In mainstream mycology (the science of mushrooms) hallucinogenic mushrooms are labeled as "poisoness", providing they get any mention at all.
Since August 1994 hallucinogenic mushrooms have been sold in "eco" or "smart" shops in the Netherlands. Happily I have made my modest contribution to this revolution. Now I wish to publish bit by bit much of my experience with hallucinogenic mushrooms. I wish to supply people wishing to know more about this subject accurate information, since so much information about hallucinogenic mushrooms is often not based on fact.
Much of this unreliable information has been caused by the irrational War On Drugs, of which I'm a victim. Eventhough hallucinogenic (and non-hallucinogenic) mushrooms do not violate any law in the Netherlands, I was arrested in January 1997 because of th e mushrooms. I spent one week in prison and I was intergated countless times by investigators with no brains. At the moment (January 4, 1998) all of my bank accounts remain frozen and all of my research from 1994 to 1997 remains in the hands of the "judicial" authorities who broke into my flat on 6 January 1997 and stole that work, along with three jars of peanut butter. Despite the annoyance of the "judicial" authorities, I have continued my
research. No amount of idiotic oppression will make me too afraid to stop my personal research.
